Day 460: February 4, 2023 Saturday – 73rd Sapporo Snow Festival D1 It's a cold Saturday morning here in Rumoi City. Off to Motokawa-cho bus stop The Motokawa-cho bus stop is covered in deep snow Waiting for the Engan Bus bound for Sapporo City Today is something my family and I have been looking forward to since last year. We are traveling to Sapporo City to finally enjoy the Sapporo Snow Festival . We had seen numerous clips of past Sapporo Snow Festivals and were yearning to experience it ourselves. Our home for the night - Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza We chose to walk to Sapporo Beer Museum from Sapporo Station as it is just 1.4 kilometers away.  We caught the 8:30 AM Engan Rapid Express Bus from Motokawa-cho in Rumoi City to Sapporo Station . When we arrived, the first thing we did was head to Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza and leave our stuff for safekeeping. Weekend 66: February 4 - 5, 2023 Day 460: February 4, 2023 Saturday – 73rd Sapporo Snow Festival D1 It's a very cold morning here in Rumoi City Waiting for the bus going to Sapporo City Ella had time to play in the snow as the bus was a bit late Getting ready to board the bus Excitement filled the air as my family and I woke up early for our trip to Sapporo City to experience the famous Sapporo Snow Festival . We had been looking forward to this for months, and we were finally here! Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza We're walking to our next destination for the day. Our journey started with an 8:30 AM ride on the  Engan Rapid Express Bus  from  Motokawa-cho bus stop  in  Rumoi City  to Sapporo Station.
